I read the review listing this as 3.5 before downloading it with KU. Until she shifts she will not know if Cade is her lifemate.īut honestly I already read Twilight and this had way to many similarities that it just ticked me off not sure if I will read any of the other books in this series. It did have some unique ideas such as the main character being a "latent wolf" which is a wolf that has to learn how to shift. Other than the fact that it is werewolf's instead of Vampires how much more can you copy "Twilight"?

There is a human boy at school who likes her but thinks it is strange that she hangs out with the group. She starts to fall off a trailer and one of the boys somehow makes it over to save her but he couldn't have been close enough to do that?

The oldest boy Cade in the group who is gorgeous likes her but they can't be together. She finally fits in her parents are happy she has finally found friends! There is a family/group that takes her in but they do not interact with anyone else in school. :)ġ7 year old girl moves to a tiny little town. I will certainly be downloading the next book in the series, I just wish it was coming out sooner. The characters are easy to like and the dialogue and description are well written. It's true that there are some similarities, I can see where is seems that some ideas were borrowed and rewritten but in truth, what supernatural story these days doesn't have some sort of resemblance? I truly didn't walk away from the novel feeling like I'd just reread Twilight all over again.įor me, I felt like the story line was intriguing enough to stand on it's own.

A run in with a close knit group of teenagers changes everything for her.įor those who say that this book reminds them of Twilight, I couldn't disagree more. Kendra's difficult past has her feeling like a constant outsider, she keeps her feelings guarded and is hesitant to let people in. Once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down!!! What a fantastic debut novel! I really am glad that I gave this book a chance.
